Welder/Driveline Specialist

As a leader in CNC machining and work truck and van upfits for 90 years, we are adding another Welder/Driveline Specialist to our team due to increased work volume. We are looking for an individual with a go-getter attitude, strong mechanical and welding skills, and high attention to detail. Your attendance MUST be punctual and reliable. This person is vital to our daily operations so please do not apply if this does not describe your work ethic. This position will perform day-to-day welding operations whether it is one piece or multiple pieces. Welding will be a culmination of new products and repair welding. Candidate is required to have prior welding experience and a strong mechanical background. This position also includes the task of building new, repairing used, and balancing driveshafts. Additional responsibilities may include line boring operations and hydraulic component rebuilds. Read blueprints and interpret tolerances Evaluate breakdown jobs and understand tolerances for repair Prioritize different tasks and be able to efficiently manage your time Maintain a clean and safe working environment REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of 2 years’ CNC Machining and/or Welding experience, or two years of vocational or technical school certification Welding knowledge IS required Machining skills are a plus Must be able to multi-task on different projects Must be able to produce quality products within budget High attention to details and meeting deadlines Strong mechanical aptitude COMPENSATION: This position offers a competitive hourly salary based on experience. Work hours are Monday through Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm, and Friday, 7am to Noon (40 hours/week + 5 hours OT/week). Additional overtime opportunities may be required as needed.
