Information Technology Applications Administrator

This position will report to HB Mechanical Group, LLC, a subsidiary of HB Global.**This is a remote position that may require occasional travel. We are looking for a candidate in the Greater Harrisburg area. Please note that we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless functioning of our software systems, contributing to overall efficiency and productivity. Open-minded.ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:Install, configure, maintain, and support enterprise applications that drive business operationsPartner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to:Deploy regular patches, upgrades, and enhancementsEnsure software licensing complianceSupport testing, validation, and governance processesMonitor application performance, identify issues, and implement proactive solutionsAnalyze business needs and recommend system improvements to increase efficiency and scalabilityOptimize system configurations to enhance performance and reliabilityProvide end-user support, troubleshooting application-related issues in a timely mannerManage multiple priorities effectively while meeting deadlinesDevelop and deliver user training to improve adoption and effective use of applicationsImplement and maintain application security controls to protect sensitive dataEnsure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and internal policiesCreate and maintain clear documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and user guidesPerforms other related duties as assignedEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and SKILLS:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related fieldProven experience as an Applications Administrator or in a similar roleStrong understanding of application lifecycle management (deployment, configuration, maintenance)Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skillsMust demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently with minimal direct supervisionPREFERRED QUALIFICTIONS:Experience with ERP or business systems such as Davisware, Sage 300, Sage Inacct, or BuildOpsBasic understanding of accounting principlesIndustry experienceWorking knowledge of SQLPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds at timesAbility to travel to various divisions and worksites as needed
