Project Manager (Hoffman Estates)

Project Manager | Equipment InstallationTarget Salary: ~$90K/year (flexible based on experience)Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, and 401(k)We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Project Manager to lead capital equipment installation projects from initial order through final commissioning and customer acceptance. This role will partner closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and service teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle equipment installation projects from order entry through startup, commissioning, and project closeoutServe as the primary point of contact for customers, providing project updates and resolving issues throughout the project lifecycleDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and key deliverablesCoordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and field service operationsTrack project progress, financials, invoicing milestones, and scope changesIdentify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to support successful project executionSupport on-site installation, commissioning, and equipment startup activities as neededDrive continuous improvement initiatives through lessons learned and process enhancementsQualifications3+ years of project management experience within engineering, manufacturing, automation, or technical environmentsExperience managing capital equipment or complex technical projectsStrong customer-facing communication and relationship management skillsProven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneouslyExperience using project management software and ERP/CRM systemsBachelor's degree preferred in Engineering, Business, Life Sciences, or a related fieldExperience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, or regulated manufacturing environments is a plusFamiliarity with GMP, FDA, or similar regulatory standards preferredPMP certification or similar project management certification is a plus
