SUMMARY: We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the team, specializing in the tint dispensing and mixing industry. The ideal candidate will drive the development of cutting-edge mechanical and structural designs, from initial concept through to production. RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the design and development of mechanical systems and components for tint dispensing and mixing equipment. Apply deep expertise in mechanical and structural engineering to create innovative solutions. Utilize knowledge of fluid dynamics, with a focus on non-Newtonian fluids, to enhance product performance Design and integrate stepper motor systems for precise control of dispensing and mixing operations. Design and develop components using molding, sheet metal, and machining techniques. Develop and optimize pump systems for efficient and reliable tint dispensing and mixing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet functional, quality, and manufacturability requirements. Conduct simulations, testing, and validation of designs to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to incorporate new technologies and methodologies. EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. 15+ years of experience and extensive experience in mechanical and structural engineering. Proven experience in the design and development of systems involving fluid dynamics, preferably non-Newtonian fluids. Significant experience in pump development and optimization. Proficiency in using CAD software for designing and modeling components utilizing preferably SolidWorks. Experienced to use CAD for preparation of design documents (Drawing, BOM, Assembly Drawing etc.) Experience with stepper motors and their integration into mechanical systems. Experience with manufacturing processes such as molding, sheet metal fabrication, and machining. Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Work in a shopfloor/manufacturing environment.
