Travel Respiratory Therapist

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist with 2+ years of Level 1 trauma and critical care experience for an inpatient acute care and NICU Level III position requiring day/night rotation shifts.Job Details• Inpatient acute care setting with cross-training in a Level III NICU,• Adult critical care experience in both MICU and SICU settings required,• 12-hour shifts on a day/night rotation (36 hours/week),• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required,• Participation on the Code Blue team,• Preferred experience with Dräger XL and v500 ventilators,Job Requirements• Active MA Respiratory Care license (license required if applicable),• RRT certification required; NPS and/or ACCS preferred,• BLS and NRP certifications required,• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a Level 1 trauma facility,• Recent critical care experience in both MICU and SICU,• Adult critical care and NICU Level III experience required,• Familiarity with lung protective ventilation strategies,• Ability to make independent ventilator decisions based on patient assessment and laboratory results,• Two professional references on file, at least one from a manager-level or above (not a supervisor), including a performance evaluation; one evaluation must be within the last 12 months and the other within the last 3 years,Additional Information• Manage ventilator settings and respiratory care for critically ill adult and neonatal patients,• Cross-train and provide coverage in a Level III NICU in addition to adult acute care units,• Local candidates are accepted for this position,
