The successful candidate will serve as a subject matter expert in RF services and NAIS system maintenance, providing daily engineering support and technical guidance. The role involves researching design modifications, developing monitoring strategies, and diagnosing complex system issues beyond routine checks. The engineer will collaborate with US Coast Guard officials to recommend system upgrades, enhancements, or decommissioning, ensuring compliance with international standards and operational efficiency. This position requires proactive response capabilities, including remote troubleshooting and onsite support when necessary.
