Empire installs netting systems for Major League, Minor League, college, high school and city ball parks all across the country. This position requires a construction minded individual who is able to travel to sports venues across the country and install netting. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated and detail oriented. Duties & Responsibilities Follow job plans and blueprints Install large diameter poles Hang cables and nets from poles Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion Perform maintenance on equipment to keep in a satisfactory working condition Additional tasks as assigned Requirements & Qualifications High school or equivalent is preferred US work authorization is required Valid driver’s license is required, CDL is a plus Exhibit regular and prompt attendance Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted Demonstrate ability to work independently while also able to work in a team setting Willing to work M-F with weekends and overtime as needed Ability to use a variety of hand tools and all power tools Ability to operate heavy equipment, i.e. skid loader, telescoping boom lift, etc. Relocation assistance is not available with this position.
