Mid-Level Software Engineer - C#/ASP.NET

Edaptive Computing, Inc. (ECI) is currently seeking a Mid-Level C#/ASP.NET Software Engineer. The Edaptive Computing Mid-Level Software Engineer develops and tests enterprise C#/ASP.NET web applications. The Mid-Level Software Engineer works with application design artifacts to develop application code in an enterprise C#/ASP.NET web application environment. The Mid-Level Software Engineer applies proven problem-solving, analytical and communication skills to successfully implement application code on time and on budget. Primary Responsibilities Develop and test enterprise C#/ASP.NET web applications Works as a member of project teams to gather customer requirements and implement designs to meet those requirements Qualitative Requirements Knowledge software engineering best practices and techniques Knowledge of software design patterns and best practices Capability to work independently and as a member of a project team Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Educational and Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent 3+ years of C#/ASP.NET in a software development or engineering role Intermediate understanding of C#/ASP.NET Enterprise software architecture components and patterns Experience working in a CMMI or equivalent process driven environment a plus Experience with Agile process a plus Intermediate understanding of the ASP.NET framework 4.0 or greater Both client and server side development Cascading Style Sheets, CSS, and their application to large scale web sites, working with Less a plus An understanding of both Master Pages and SPA Control development Entity Framework a plus Web API a plus Web Forms Object oriented analysis and design HTML 5 / CSS3 Visual Studio 12+, VS15 a plus Desired Qualifications IIS Application Server Less or Sass JavaScript HTML 5 Web Sockets Design and Deployment of Software for Platform as a Service (PaaS) Team Foundation Server MS Test Manager Test Driven Development SQL Server XML Source Control (Git or SVN) Submission Instructions (Non-complying submissions will not be considered) Reference Mid-Level Software Engineer - C#/ASP.NET in all correspondence Eligibility for a Security Clearance is required Resumes must be 3 pages or less and provide description of how qualifying technologies were used.
