LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in West Bloomfield, Michigan.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Labor and DeliveryDiscipline: RNStart Date: 04/27/2026Duration: 13 weeks40 hours per weekShift: 8 hours, nightsEmployment Type: TravelRegistered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) – Travel AssignmentLocation: West Bloomfield, MichiganUnit: Labor & Delivery (L&D)Duration: 13 WeeksShift: 40 hours/week (8-hour shifts) Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct nursing care to patients in Labor & Delivery and postpartum settingsPerform patient assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plansMonitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor and deliveryAdminister medications, treatments, and interventions as orderedAssist physicians and midwives during labor, delivery, and emergency situationsEducate patients and families regarding childbirth, postpartum care, and newborn careDocument all care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teamsEnsure adherence to hospital policies, safety standards, and clinical protocolsRequired QualificationsMinimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience (REQUIRED)Postpartum experience requiredActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of MichiganGraduation from an accredited School of NursingCurrent BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (REQUIRED – must be active)Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity maternity environmentPreferred QualificationsBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)Prior travel nursing experienceExperience in high-volume or tertiary care L&D unitsAbout LanceSoftEstablished in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
