This role is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing marine vessel systems and mechanical equipment, with a strong focus on electrical, mechanical, and stabilization technologies.The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced working in marine environments. This position plays a critical role in supporting vessel performance, safety, and reliability while delivering high-quality service to our customers.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on marine vessels and mechanical systemsInstall, service, and troubleshoot gyroscopic stabilizers, trim tabs, and fin stabilization systemsDiagnose electrical and mechanical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manualsConduct fabrication and assembly work using fiberglass, acrylic, starboard, and marine-grade materialsUtilize hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate repairsAssist with vessel installations, rigging, and equipment upgradesMaintain detailed service records and ensure compliance with safety standardsSupport preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment performanceWork collaboratively with team members to deliver reliable, high-quality serviceQualificationsExperience as a Marine Technician, Mechanic, or Service Technician in marine or related industriesStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skillsExperience installing or servicing gyroscopic stabilizers or marine stabilization systems preferredAbility to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manualsHands-on experience with fabrication, rigging, and mechanical repairFamiliarity with electrical testing equipment and precision measuring toolsStrong attention to detail and commitment to safetyAbility to work in physically demanding environments requiring lifting, bending, and standingValid driver’s license requiredMilitary or technical training is a plusWhat We OfferHands-on work with advanced marine and stabilization systemsStable, full-time position with opportunities for growthCompetitive pay based on experienceBenefits package and career development opportunitiesTeam-oriented, safety-focused work environmentWhy Join Coastal Offshore X-CellenceAt Coastal Offshore X-Cellence, we specialize in precision marine electrical and stabilization solutions for vessels worldwide.
