Lead ServiceNow Developer

Terms of Employment• Duration: W2 contract, 12 months• Location: Remote (Must be local to Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia, or West Virginia for mandatory quarterly on-site travel and in-person interviewing) OverviewWork with a premier organization managing high-impact platform solutions. This role is focused on driving the delivery, capacity enhancement, and accelerated plan adoption of a mature, core ServiceNow scoped application called Inquiry 360. As a Lead Engineer, you will ensure seamless functionality and localized support for expansive deployment initiatives across partnership networks.Key Responsibilities• Lead the technical delivery, optimization, and feature functionality expansion of the Inquiry 360 scoped application built on ServiceNow CSM.• Perform a hybrid balance of 60% to 70% technical development and 30% to 40% environment administration to fully support end-to-end delivery tracking.• Utilize ServiceNow UI Builder to construct, configure, and maintain modern application user interfaces.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and plan partners to accelerate module adoption and provide ongoing delivery care.• Participate in regular on-site Agile planning ceremonies, including Program Increment (PI) planning sessions.Required Qualifications• 8 or more years of professional experience operating as a dedicated ServiceNow Developer.• Direct development experience utilizing the ServiceNow Customer Service Management (CSM) module.• Demonstrated hands-on technical proficiency with ServiceNow UI Builder.• Active ServiceNow System Administrator certification is a must• Active ServiceNow Developer-centric certification is a must• Reside within the local DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) or West Virginia region and possess the ability to attend in-person interviews and quarterly on-site planning.Preferred Qualifications• Prior experience working within structured SAFe / Agile environments, specifically participating in PI Planning sessions.• Foundational knowledge or secondary experience with ServiceNow backend API integrations.
