Build precision with us as a CNC Press Brake Fabrication SpecialistPicture the start of your shift at 2:30 PM. You review blueprints, select tooling, and set up the Accurpress press brake. You load the program, verify angles and radii, and plan the bend sequence. Throughout the evening, you measure parts with calipers and protractors, complete job tickets, and keep production on time—finishing strong at 11:00 PM with quality parts ready to ship.What your evening looks likeOperate a CNC press brake to punch, notch, bend, and form sheet metal to precise angles and radii.Set up jobs efficiently: change and set dies, load programs, and input data via the CNC controller.Follow the correct order of operations to shape parts to specification and blueprint requirements.Inspect work using calipers and protractors; document results and complete all required paperwork and job tickets to meet time and quality standards.Spot malfunctions quickly and alert your supervisor to material or equipment issues.Perform daily/weekly preventive maintenance and keep the area organized; move and stack material safely.Our standardsAttendance: Be on time, follow schedules, be prepared to start promptly, remain engaged through the workday, and keep unscheduled absences to a minimum.Quality: We aim to “do it right the first time” to meet every customer requirement.Safety: Wear required PPE and follow all safety rules, procedures, and policies at all times.Accountability: Own the quantity and quality of your output and strive for excellence.Compliance and process disciplineFollow established procedures, work instructions, and operating processes. Everyone is responsible for containing and immediately notifying management about any nonconforming product.This role has no supervisory responsibilities.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED.Minimum 2 years as a press operator; previous CNC press brake experience required.Direct CNC Press Brake experience: 1 year (Required).Comfortable with short runs and prototype work.Blueprint literacy and skill with precision measuring tools.Self-directed with minimal supervision, yet collaborative when needed.Capable of programming and maintaining machine programs.Working conditionsManufacturing environment with regular exposure to loud noise, fumes/airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, vibration, and chemicals (hazards detailed on accessible Safety Data Sheets).
