The firm values integrity, professionalism, and continuous learning in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.Role Description The Associate Financial Advisor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Huntington Beach, CA. The Associate Financial Advisor will support lead advisors in preparing and updating comprehensive financial plans, including cash flow, retirement, tax, insurance, and estate planning analyses. This role will assist in researching and evaluating investment options, building portfolios, and monitoring client accounts for alignment with objectives and risk tolerance. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and organizing client data, preparing meeting materials, participating in client meetings, and documenting follow-ups and action items. The Associate Financial Advisor will also help respond to client inquiries, coordinate with custodians and service providers, and maintain accurate records in the firm’s CRM and planning tools. Over time, this position may grow into a more client-facing advisory role with increased responsibility for managing relationships and delivering advice.Qualifications Strong foundation in Finance and Investments, including understanding of asset allocation, risk management, and capital markets.Proficiency in Financial Planning, with experience or training in cash flow analysis, tax-aware planning, and comprehensive plan development.Knowledge of Retirement Planning, including retirement income strategies, Social Security considerations, and qualified plan rules.Demonstrated interest or experience in Financial Advisory, supporting advisors in client meetings, plan implementation, and ongoing service.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Financial Planning, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; progress toward or interest in CFP® certification strongly preferred.Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts in accessible terms.High level of integrity, discretion, and client-service orientation, with the ability to work collaboratively in a small-team environment.Proficiency with Excel and financial planning or CRM software; willingness to learn new tools and systems.
