Growing together. As the Cardiologist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients requiring specialized care. You will work as part of a team‑based model where primary and specialty care providers join with hospital partners, community specialists, and skilled nursing facilities to provide high‑quality, evidence‑based medicine to a diverse and growing population. Primary Responsibilities Perform physical assessments on patients with specialized conditions. Develop and implement a plan of care for these patients and prescribe medications, exercises, and other treatments and testing such as lab sessions, echocardiography, stress testing, vascular ultrasound imaging, nuclear imaging, and cardiac device clinic. Collaborate with the clinical and administrative teams in the management of patient care, maintaining continuity of care through the exchange of information with outside health and social agencies. Serve as a liaison between primary care providers and specialists, consulting with providers on issues related to patient care. Teach and counsel individuals and groups with regard to specific health care needs, serving as an educator in areas of specialization. Participate in the development of health education programs. Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Medical School or School of Osteopathic Medicine. Board Certified or Board Certified Eligible in Cardiology. Current active DEA licensure/prescriptive authority or ability to obtain post‑hire per state regulations. Current active Mass DPH Controlled Substances Registration or ability to obtain post‑hire per state regulations. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Preferred Qualifications Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty. Echo and Nuclear certification. Compensation and Benefits Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $367,500 – $700,000. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
