Role Description The Senior Construction Observer is a full-time, on-site role based in Lubbock, TX. This role involves regular oversight of construction projects to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards. Responsibilities include monitoring project progress, coordinating with contractors and project managers, documenting construction activities, performing quality control, and addressing any issues that arise during project execution. The candidate will also provide regular progress reports and ensure consistent adherence to policies and applicable regulations. Qualifications Strong understanding of construction observation, project management, and quality assurance practicesProficiency in reviewing blueprints, construction plans, and specificationsExperience in compliance monitoring, safety standards, and issue resolution during constructionEffective communication and reporting skills for coordination with contractors and stakeholdersProficiency with relevant software and tools for project documentation and schedulingKnowledge of regulatory compliance and construction safety standardsBachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferredProfessional certifications in construction management or relevant fields are a plusStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
