Position Summary:
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all field and logistical operations for a cabinet distribution business, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in alignment with quality standards. This role manages the Logistics & Warehouse Manager, Field Supervisors, and all Service Technicians. The Director of Operations plays a key role in improving workflows, enforcing performance standards, and ensuring adequate coverage and support across all service and delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Oversight
Directly manage and support the Logistics and Warehouse Manager, Field Supervisors, and Service Technicians.
Monitor daily operations across delivery, installation, and service workflows to ensure smooth execution and minimal delays.
Ensure teams are properly staffed and trained to meet fluctuating workload demands.
Operational Excellence
Evaluate and continuously improve operational systems, procedures, and policies.
Perform regular audits and field evaluations to ensure installation and service meet company quality standards.
Identify and correct inefficiencies or issues related to field execution, warehouse operations, or logistics.
Scheduling & Coverage
Step in to assist or reallocate resources during high-volume periods, absences, or emergencies.
Provide real-time support to field crews and warehouse staff as issues arise.
Communication & Coordination
Collaborate with Sales, Design, Order Prep, and Customer Service teams to ensure alignment across departments.
Maintain open lines of communication with builder clients and homeowners regarding service timelines and quality concerns when necessary.
Ensure internal communication systems (e.g., BuilderTrend, Slack, CRM tools) are effectively used to track and resolve field activities.
Performance Management
Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to direct reports.
Set clear expectations and accountability standards for field performance, professionalism, and communication.
Support hiring, training, and onboarding of new operations staff.
Qualifications:
3–5 years of experience in operations management, field services, or logistics, preferably within the construction or cabinetry industry.
Strong knowledge of cabinet installation, warehouse practices, and field service coordination.
Proven leadership and team development skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume, customer-facing environment.
Proficiency with BuilderTrend, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite, and logistics/CRM platforms.
Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and decision-making abilities.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
