Chicago Ave. Chicago IL 60614Job Type: Full-TimePay Rate: $55,000 - $60,000 YearlyResponsible for the day-to-day administration of the Company's retail showroom. Responsible for the operation of shipping, receiving, purchasing, installation coordination, Customer Service, and Sales support. Responsible for the development and improvement of service to customers, including policies and procedures. Responsible for improving internal communication and information flow related to servicing customers and the completion of their transactions. Responsible for bringing a team-like atmosphere throughout the company.ResponsibilitiesAs an Assistant Showroom Manager, you are responsible for delivering sales results for the showroom. You have a passion for our product and our customers, creating a unique experience for them.As an Assistant Store Manager, in partnership with Management, assist with training Sales and Customer Service AssociatesService Associate, Merchandising, Inventory, and expense controlResponsible to meet or exceed all goals and key performance indicators (KPIs)Resolve issues for the customer's satisfaction by working in a collaborative partnership with Management and other departments and following up with the customer on order tracking and updatesEnsure and maintain inventory integrity, accuracy, location, etc.Responsible for all receiving and warehouse operationsEnsure store merchandising standards are maintained (i.e., merchandising visuals, marketing, cleanliness, appropriate inventory levels, warehouse and storage organization, safety, etc.) in accordance with Company operating policies and proceduresProcess ERP transactions (i.e., sales, returns, correction orders, exchanges, etc.) in accordance with company policies and provide accurate information to clients and internal partnersMaintain a calm demeanor and manage issues professionally and respectfully in accordance with company standardsCommunicate clearly and professionally with customers, vendors, and internal teamsSupport recruiting, training, mentoring, and scheduling in partnership with ManagementEnsure accurate pricing and approve discounts or exceptions when appropriatePerform additional duties as needed to support business operationsRequirementsExperience managing a retail showroom or similar environment, or demonstrated ability to step into a leadership roleStrong communication and organizational skillsHigh attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain accuracy under pressureComfort receiving direct, honest feedback and adjusting quicklyOwnership mindset with strong follow-throughKnowledge of lighting or electrical products preferred; design experience is a plusBenefitsHealth, Dental, and Vision Insurance enrollment on the 1st of the month after 30 days of employment401k Retirement plan after 6 months of employmentUp to 80 hours of accrued Vacation Paid Leave, prorated your first yearState and locally regulated Paid Sick TimePaid Company HolidaysShort Term, Long Term Disability, Life, and AD&D optional Insurance benefits the 1st of the month after 30 days of employmentCompany-sponsored Life with AD&D Insurance CoverageOptional enrollment in Health Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
