In this role, you will provide essential support to the sales team and clients working on commercial projects, helping to enhance the team's ability to meet sales targets and improve the overall customer purchasing experience. This position is fully remote and based in your home office reporting to the Assistant Sales Support Manager, ContractWhat You’ll Be DoingCustomer Experience & Sales SupportCultivate and maintain strong relationships with top designers, luxury showrooms, and sales teams, delivering exceptional serviceProvide expert product knowledge to assist clients confidently and accuratelyHandle inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and resolve concerns for designers, architects, and installersManage orders, coordinate shipments, and track logistics to ensure timely deliveryProcess payments, create packing lists, and handle returns or replacements efficientlyPerform meticulous data entry and ensure accurate CRM documentationAssist clients with web account setup, order processing, and pricing quotesIdentify cross-selling opportunities and make proactive outbound calls for sales follow-upsAct as the main connection of support to Phillip Jeffries HQ for assigned territories, including the contract sales team, dual reps, and partner showroomsCoordinate sample orders for assigned territories while reps are on the roadReview client contracts to ensure the requested product aligns with requirementsFoster a collaborative team environment, offering support to colleagues and departmentsPipeline & Project ManagementCollaborate with sales reps and clients to align on project timelines, goals, and executionManage the full project life cycle, ensuring deadlines for approvals, meetings, and onsite needs are metServe as the liaison between departments, tracking progress, updating CRM records, and resolving potential issues proactivelyMaintain organized project documentation, ensuring all necessary details are available in CRM and Contract FoldersProvide proactive follow-up on quotes before expiration and ensure accurate pricing coordinationRegularly communicate with sales reps to review and update project statusesWhat You Bring to the TableLocation preference Chicago, IL area or availability to work from 8:30 AM–5:30 PM CSTMinimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service or sales support roleAbility to build strong relationships with sales representatives and clientsExceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with an outstanding phone mannerDemonstrated ability to multitask and effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentProactive problem-solving approach, utilizing analytical skills to identify and resolve issues efficientlyExcellent time management and follow-up abilitiesProficient computer skills, including data management, Microsoft Word, and ExcelThe Phillip Jeffries ExperienceAt Phillip Jeffries, we believe exceptional work deserves exceptional care.
