Remote Audiologist in NM

A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Audiologist to provide telehealth services for K-12 students. This role involves delivering approximately 8 hours per month of virtual audiology support within a school setting, focusing on comprehensive care for students in need of hearing services.Key Responsibilities:Conduct teletherapy audiological evaluations and follow-up sessions for students across all grade levelsCollaborate on Individualized Education Program (IEP) development, including writing goals aligned with student needsPerform Medicaid billing accurately and in a timely mannerProvide consultative services to educators and support staff regarding student hearing needs and accommodationsMaintain thorough documentation of services and progress in compliance with regulatory standardsQualifications and Desired Experience:Valid state licensure as an AudiologistExperience delivering telehealth audiology services, preferably within school environmentsFamiliarity with Medicaid billing processes specific to audiology servicesKnowledge of special education regulations, particularly related to IEP development and implementationStrong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and school personnelAbility to manage a flexible schedule that accommodates monthly service hoursLocation:Remote telehealth services supporting students in Bloomfield, NM
