Talent Acquisition Specialist
We are conducting a search on behalf of Kiernan Trebach, a well-regarded litigation-focused law firm with offices along the East Coast. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, they're looking for a TA Specialist who wants real ownership, not just calendar management. The incumbent will drive attorney recruiting end to end, run the summer associate program, and work closely with firm leadership. If you know law firm recruiting, and want a role where your work is visible and your contributions matter, we'd like to hear from you.The RoleReports to: Director of Human ResourcesLocation: Washington, DCSchedule: 5 days a week in officeTravel: Occasional travel to East Coast officesSalary: $75,000 – $95,000Benefits: Health insurance includedStart: ASAPWhat You'll Be DoingRunning attorney recruiting from start to finish: sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and getting offers across the finish lineOwning the summer associate program, from outreach and on-campus interviews through orientation and evaluationsServing as the day-to-day point of contact across a high volume of external search firm relationships , coordinate submissions, manage logistics, and keep multiple searches moving simultaneouslyPreparing offer letters and employment agreements and supporting compensation conversations within firm guidelinesShepherding new hires through onboarding so their first days go smoothly across all East Coast officesPartnering with marketing and leadership on hire announcements, lateral integrations, and employer brandingLeveraging the ATS and recruiting data to track pipeline activity, measure search performance, and deliver accurate, timely reporting to the Director of Human ResourcesWhat We're Looking ForAt least 2 years of full-cycle recruiting in a law firm including attorney recruitingComfort with law school recruiting programs and/or lateral hiringExperience with an ATSSomeone who can juggle multiple searches without dropping the ball - or the candidateGenuine discretion; you’ll be handling sensitive compensation and candidate information dailyA communicator who makes candidates feel well cared for from first outreach through day oneA self-starter who doesn’t need to be managed closely to get things doneThe ProcessWe’ll start with an initial conversation.
