Travel Occupational Therapist - Acute Care Hospital

American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week hospital assignment in Oro Valley, AZ, covering acute, rehab, and skilled nursing units.Job Details• Day shift position, Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (flexible start between 7:00-8:00 AM),• 13-week travel contract,• Hospital-based Occupational Therapy department,• Coverage required across Skilled Nursing, Acute Care, and Rehabilitation units,• Cerner EMR - experience preferred,Job Requirements• Minimum 2 years of recent Occupational Therapy experience required,• Active AZ OT license required (license required if applicable),• Current BLS certification required,• Valid Fingerprint Card required,• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position,Additional Information• Responsibilities include evaluating, planning, implementing, and modifying age-appropriate treatment programs,• Participates in discharge planning and performance improvement initiatives,• All certifications must remain active through at least the first 30 days of the assignment,• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position,• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration,
