Lockheed Martin Space Systems EngineerLockheed Martin Space is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support System of Systems Integration for a satellite communications (SATCOM) system. As a Systems Engineer Stf, you will:Act as the Product Owner for the Systems Integration and Engineering teamPerform systems integration activities throughout the program lifecycle, identifying risks and defining mitigation strategiesGuide systems integration efforts through the program lifecyclePartner with the SEIT organization to design and deliver end to end integrated solutionsDefine and communicate a clear product vision; maintain a prioritized product backlog aligned with program objectivesWrite, refine, and prioritize user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical tasks; ensure backlog items are ready for sprint planningThe information below includes the standard job description for this position:Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software QualificationsBachelors degree in Engineering/Technical discipline or closely related field, or equivalent combination of education and related experienceExperience as a Technical Lead, Scrum Product Owner or similarSystems Integration and Engineering process knowledge and experiencesTechnical experience coordinating across multiple engineering disciplinesFamiliarity with Agile processes and toolsActive Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.Desired SkillsFull lifecycle systems integration and engineering experience on Space programsStrong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and experience with tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or Rally.Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar certificationCustomer intimacy and proactive inter-personal skills across all levels of stakeholders, with the ability to drive consensus on best ideas, processes, and productsExperience designing, testing or verifying communications Payloads or Payload unitsExperience or understanding of terminals and system interfaces to terminalsExperience or understanding of operational ground system command and controlAbility to communicate complex technical ideas to an audience with varied technical backgroundsDemonstrated ability to work in self-directed manner, work independently, and leverage bestExperience with CAMEO or MBSEProficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practicePay Information:Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
