Position Overview:
As a Senior Digital Analytics Engineer, you'll direct and oversee technical strategy, technologies and the work of other engineers and partners across an ecosystem of externally facing digital web and mobile properties.
This is a hybrid role, some onsite attendance may be required.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with product owners and developers to validate and maintain analytics implementation across all digital channels and ensure website and app data is being collected properly and accurately per the measurement strategy
Support the development and training of internal processes and documentation governing all aspects of analytics tagging, implementation, quality assurance and reporting, including continuous improvement of these processes
Conduct regular audits of digital insights implementation, identifying recommendations to improve data structure and reporting
Manage quality assurance of all Google Analytics implementations and provide recommendations to provide insightful, best-in-class digital channel reports and dashboards, adhering to service level agreements with lines of business, partners and the overall Digital Channels team
Serve as the communications hub for technical standards and best practices
Provide supporting technical materials, education and in-person expertise
Troubleshoot and debug issues; develop recommendations and solutions
Foster an environment that encourages innovation, risk taking, speed and agility
Use automation techniques and create and maintain standards for configuration, segmentation, user access, data privacy, regression tests and alerts
Develop, execute and update technical strategy, work unit standards and procedures
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or another technical degree
5 years of experience with digital analytics architecture tools
1 year of experience with big data
Experience leading implementations and management of digital analytics technology platforms
Tools / Systems / Software
Experience with the Microsoft Office suite, tag management systems, the Google marketing platform, and BigQuery
Physical Requirements:
Generally, spend the workday sitting at a workstation and operating computer devices, such as, but not limited to keyboard, mouse and screen
Generally, spend the workday performing repetitive motions that involve or affect the hands, head, and other parts of your body
