Be a part of a company that thinks differently to solve problems, make progress, and deliver meaningful innovations.Visit www.medtronicdiabetes.com to see an overview of the products in our Diabetes product portfolio.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.Performs a variety of tasks in the electronic, mechanical, electromechan ical, and/or optical areas.Conducts mechanical and electrical testing on medical devices, including but not limited to Essential Performance, Basic Safety, battery life, chemical exposure, environmental, and IEC 60601 testing. The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of testing protocols.Troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems used in the assembly and testing of pumps and sensors.Operates test equipment, such as Temperature and Humidity Environmental Chambers, Altitude Environmental Chambers, and vibration test systems.Conducts tests and reports data in a prescribed format, including formats compliant with Design History Files (DHF) standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in data collection and documentation.Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.Assembles mechanical electrical devices for testing and design verification, preferably pumps and/or sensors according to design and specifications. Responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and training to other employees within the job area. Provides technical support in areas such as testing and good documentation practices to improve the internal processes.Must Have: MinimumTo be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident on your resume.Bachelor’s Diploma with 2+ years of experience in design verification and reliability product testing.ORHigh School Diploma or GED with 4+ years of experience in design verification and reliability product testing.Nice to Have Experience in regulated industry (Medical Devices preferred). Experience in executing and recording testing in a lab setting. Experience working with Insulin pumps. Experience working with Glucose sensors. Experience in a cleanroom environment. Experience with small parts assembly. Strong attention to detail. Experience using a microscope. PR) locations (USD):$46,800.00 - $70,200.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
