Python engineer

Looking for a mid–senior Python engineer to build components and adapters for a modular, platform-independent data platform framework.Core responsibilitiesDevelop Python components and Ports & Adapters / Hexagonal Architecture.Build integrations with external systems via REST APIs/CLIs.Develop and test adapters for technologies such as Snowflake.Write high-quality unit/integration tests using pytest and mocking.Implement secure secrets management.Work with AWS and GitLab CI/CD.Maintain clean architectural boundaries and participate in code reviews.Must-have5+ years software/data engineering experience.Advanced Python: OOP, interfaces/ABCs, type hints, packaging, dependency management.Hands-on Clean/Hexagonal Architecture + dependency injection.Strong pytest/testing experience.Production REST API integration experience.Strong SQL + Snowflake.Hands-on AWS.Secrets management experience: Vault / AWS Secrets Manager / Parameter Store.Git + GitLab CI or equivalent.Understanding of data warehousing, transformation and ETL.Professional English.Nice-to-havedbt, Liquibase, Collibra, Immuta, Monte Carlo.Terraform, Docker/containerisation.Airflow/Dagster.PostgreSQL/BigQuery/Redshift.Pharma/regulatory experience.DataOps / SAFe experience.
