Personnel Security Specialist with Security Clearance

Personnel Security Specialist Aether Aerospace is seeking an experienced Personnel Security (PERSEC) Specialist to join our team and contribute to our success in maintaining technological superiority through protecting the Government's most advanced technologies from adversarial compromise. The Personnel Security (PERSEC) Specialist will provide personnel security support to programs that require Special Access Program Facilities (SAPF) in accordance with the NISPOM and DOD 5205.07, Volume 2. The Personnel Security Specialist will perform the following responsibilities:Administer and update information within the customer databaseTrack and maintain all PERSEC information to include clearance status, SAP access, security training records, personnel information files (PIFs) and visit certification (VAR).Process incoming Program Access Request (PAR) and associated documentation to include following the processing requirement found in JADE SOPManage program quota rosterMaintain tracking numbers for month reporting by the Program ManagerOther duties are assigned Required Skills (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)Thorough knowledge of multiple DoD and services security references, regulations, and instructions pertaining to personnel security, especially the NISPOM and DOD5205.07 Vol 2. JAFAN experience is valued.Ability to constructively engage and resolve challenging situationsAvailable to work before/after typical office hours as work may demandIndependent self-starter, proactive and professional assertiveEffective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and computer literacyProficiency with MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsSuperior verbal/written skills and presentation skillsAbility to multitask Clearance RequirementTop Secret (TS) Security Clearance required and current within the last five years Years of Experience/Education RequirementsMinimum of five (5) years relevant specialized enhanced security experience.
