Network/Voice Content Engineer
Overview
In this role you will develop high-quality, engaging learning content focused on enterprise networking and collaboration technologies. You will collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex concepts into accessible training for diverse learners. You’ll design hands-on labs and demonstrations, applying instructional design principles to meet learning objectives. This position supports learning for customers, partners, and learners worldwide, contributing to TEKsystems' mission of delivering practical technology education.

ResponsibilitiesCreate digital and instructor-led learning content (modules, guides, tutorials, labs, and demonstrations)Collaborate with SMEs to ensure technical accuracy and instructional qualityTranslate complex networking topics into accessible materials for beginners to advanced learnersDesign interactive lab scenarios and real-world exercises focused on routing, switching, and collaborationDevelop and edit content to meet defined learning objectives and standardsStay current with enterprise networking, wireless, security, and related technologiesProduce technical demonstrations, videos, and learner-facing materialsManage content-development work independently and meet milestones
Key requirementsFive or more years of experience with enterprise networking, voice, collaboration, or infrastructure technologiesStrong understanding of routing and switching concepts (OSPF, BGP, VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, high availability) and network servicesHands-on experience with unified communications, VoIP, SIP, call routing, or collaboration platformsExcellent written, verbal, and presentation skillsExperience creating technical training, demonstrations, or hands-on labsAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesExperience with content development and instructional design principlesAbility to translate technical concepts for diverse audiencesexcellent communicationcollaborationself-motivationenterprise networkingrouting and switchingTCP/IP
