Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianWe are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the effective operation and upkeep of our facility's mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. You will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing faulty components of machines and equipment, including robots, to ensure seamless operation.ResponsibilitiesMaintain, diagnose, and repair or replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment, including robots.Conduct general upkeep and maintenance of the entire facility.Diagnose and repair or replace faulty electronic and electrical components such as relays, switches, motors, position sensing devices, and circuit boards.Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures, and replace damaged or broken wires or cables.Collaborate with others to test, troubleshoot, and diagnose malfunctions on electrical and mechanical equipment and machines, testing their operation following repair.Maintain and complete routine maintenance schedules on equipment.Repair broken parts by setting up and operating metalworking tools such as lathes, drill presses, or grinders.Replace electric motor bearings and rewire motors.Understand and follow Lockout/Tag out procedures.Assist a certified contractor with planning and installing layout, wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus as needed, including power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment.Essential Skills6 months of experience in preventative/predictive maintenance working on conveyors, pumps, and seals, and in removing and aligning motors.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Proficient use of standard hand and power tools (e.g., drills, hammer, tape measure).Experience with drilling into the PLC.Capability to maintain accurate and timely maintenance logs.Proficiency in operating a computer, with 30% of the shift involving computer work and a comfort level in learning new systems.High school diploma or equivalent.Additional Skills & QualificationsMust have own tool set including sockets, wrenches, hammers, and screwdrivers.Why Work Here?Join a dynamic team where your skills are valued and opportunities for growth abound. The facility offers good ventilation.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of LAKE CRYSTAL, MN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $26.00/hr.
