Job Description The Customer Service Representative serves as a key liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure accurate order processing, on-time deliveries, and clear communication across Sales, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Production teams. This role supports daily customer requirements, EDI order management, shipment coordination, and system updates in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Ensure customer delivery requirements are met by monitoring production schedules, shipments, and order fulfillmentMaintain clear and professional communication with customers, sales operations, warehouse staff, purchasing, and production teamsApprise internal teams of new model launches, part changes, and updated customer requirementsReview customer shipping requirements (production and service) and prepare accurate pick lists for warehouse staffCoordinate special, urgent, or expedited shipments as required to meet customer deadlinesMonitor and update customer portals for shortages, delivery changes, and order status updatesAssist in setting up new part numbers, customer profiles, and ship-to locations in company systemsManually enter customer requirements not received through EDI (including production, service, R&D, and special orders)Work closely with the IT Manager to identify, troubleshoot, and correct EDI errors or system issuesMaintain organized records of orders, communications, and delivery confirmationsSupport continuous improvement efforts to improve order accuracy and customer satisfactionCompany Description Foster Electric was founded as a loudspeaker manufacturer in 1949.
