Here is your chance to join the Crown Beverage Division.Location: Winchester, Virginia.Duties And ResponsibilitiesReporting directly to the Accounting Manager, the Accounting Clerks essential responsibilities would include, but will not be limited to, the following:Accounts Payable & Accounting Support Serve as backup for accounts payable invoice entry Maintain vendor filesMaintain BOL and scrap logsAssist with account reconciliations, data entry and journal entriesPurchasing & Payroll Support Enter, receive and maintain purchase orders Process weekly union hourly payroll processing Maintain vacation and floating holidays fileInventory & Office SupportMonitor front office functions and visitor accessAssist with annual physical inventory - mandatory attendance is required for physical inventory activities, including weekend or off-shift schedules if applicable.QualificationsIn addition to the specific responsibilities listed above, the ideal candidate will possess the following:Minimum Requirements / PreferencesAssociate degree or certificate in Accounting required1–3 years related experience preferredManufacturing and union experience preferredProficiency in Excel is requiredExperience in IBMI and Workday preferredCompetenciesStrong attention to detailAbility to work independently and collaborativelyEffective communication skillsExcellent time management skills and multi-tasking.Problem solving skills through an individual and/or collaborative approach.Physical RequirementsAbility to sit for extended periods of time while performing computer‑based work.Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching while performing job duties or accessing files, equipment, or office supplies.Ability to lift and carry light to moderate weight materials, files, or office supplies (generally up to 20 pounds) on an occasional basis.Visual acuity sufficient to review detailed accounting data, reports, and computer screens.Working ConditionsWork is primarily performed in an office environment located within an active manufacturing facility.Regular interaction with production, warehouse, and inventory areas may be required.The manufacturing environment may involve exposure to loud noise levels from production equipment, moving machinery and forklift traffic, varying temperatures depending on the location within the plant.Standard work schedule is typically Monday through Friday; however, overtime or adjusted schedules may be required during month‑end close, audits, or physical inventory counts.Periodic work outside of normal business hours, including weekends or off‑shifts, may be required.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.BenefitsCrown offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits including free company paid medical, dental, vision, life, and disability pay, vacation, holidays, education assistance.
