The Maintenance Worker performs interior and exterior janitorial, building maintenance and grounds keeping assignments according to work orders.Performs minor building construction tasks, mows lawns, maintains grounds, and picks up trash and papers.Ensures that all tools and equipment are in good repair and kept in appropriate storage sheds and closets.Transports equipment and/or commodities throughout the center.Ensures all equipment and facilities are clean and maintained in accordance with Center standards.Maintains a work environment of zero accidents and injuries including no loss-time accidents.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required. One years’ related work experience preferred.Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record preferred.Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by a person assigned to this job.
