We're seeking a reliable Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our growing team, processing high-value biological specimens in a fast-paced and mission-driven environment.Position Summary:Type: Temporary (6 weeks, with potential for extension/permanent hire)Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 7:00 PMPay: $19/hourKey Responsibilities:Process, pack, and ship orders daily-including materials requiring dry ice handlingReceive and check in incoming shipments (donor and lab supplies)Complete FedEx/UPS paperwork and manage daily shipments using a computerMake occasional deliveries (valid driver's license required)Inspect all outgoing labels/documentation for accuracyMaintain correct temperature of shipments during packingOrganize shipping/receiving and storage areasMaintain stocks of boxes and suppliesStock laboratory as neededWhat We're Looking For:Extremely organized and hardworkingHigh attention to detail, especially with valuable and sensitive materialsComfortable handling blood, urine, and plasma specimensComputer literate; Microsoft Office (Excel a plus)Able to lift up to 50 lbsValid driver's licenseWilling and able to handle dry ice and cold storage responsibilitiesDependable and able to seriously take on responsibility; safety and accuracy a must!
