Training Coordinator
Candidate Requirement: Local Candidates Only Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Training Coordinator II to support employee onboarding and talent development at a fast-growing manufacturing site. This role will own the end-to-end onboarding experience for new salaried employees across Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and IT, while also developing standardized training plans, supporting mentorship initiatives, and assisting with hiring activities as needed.This position plays a critical role in ensuring new employees are set up for success and that the organization continues to scale efficiently while maintaining a collaborative and productive work environment.Top Skills / RequirementsTraining and onboarding experienceStrong organizational skills, including:Conducting regular check-ins with employeesTracking headcount and onboarding progressHolding stakeholders accountable for task completionBachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field preferredCandidates with strong relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degreeKey ResponsibilitiesOnboardingOwn and manage the full onboarding lifecycle for salaried employees across Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and IT.Ensure new hires have the tools, resources, and support needed for a smooth transition.Partner with department leaders to develop role-specific onboarding plans aligned with business goals.Training & DevelopmentDevelop and implement standardized training plans across all functions.Create and maintain adaptable training templates for various roles and departments.Track training completion and provide feedback to leaders and employees.Mentorship ProgramsIdentify and coordinate mentorship opportunities for new hires.Partner with managers and senior team members to match employees with appropriate mentors.Support professional growth beyond initial onboarding.Hiring & Recruitment SupportCollaborate with hiring managers and recruiters to support interviewing and hiring efforts as needed.Provide input on candidate selection to ensure cultural and role alignment.Maintain and track the hiring plan for a rapidly growing manufacturing site.Collaboration & ReportingServe as a key liaison between HR, department leaders, and new employees.Track and report onboarding, hiring, and training metrics.Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.5+ years of experience in onboarding, training, and/or recruitment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Strong communication, organization, and cross-functional collaboration skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Manufacturing or industrial environment experience is a plus.Preferred SkillsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Ability to analyze data and use insights to guide decisions.Adaptable and flexible in response to changing business needs.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across diverse teams.
