Ledgent Finance and Accounting has an immediate opening for an Accounting Specialist in the Woodbury area!Pay: $28-$32/hrFully onsitetemp to hireASAP StartKey ResponsibilitiesProcess accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice review, coding, and postingPrepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaid expenses, and adjustmentsPerform bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliationsAssist with month‐end and year‐end close activitiesMaintain accurate and organized financial records and supporting documentationTrack and resolve discrepancies in transactions and account balancesSupport financial reporting by pulling data and preparing schedulesAssist with audits, tax filings, and compliance requests as neededCommunicate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve accounting issuesQualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field2–5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experienceWorking knowledge of basic accounting principles (GAAP preferred)Experience with accounting software or ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Dynamics)Proficiency in Microsoft ExcelAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
