Assembly WorkerAssembly WorkerLocation: Du Bois PA 15801Work Schedule: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM 6:00 PM | 2-2-3 (days) Rotating SchedulePay Rate: USD 18 19/hrContract: 6 MonthsQualifications:High School Diploma or GED3-5 years of assembly, manufacturing, or related experienceMechanical aptitude demonstrated through work experience, technical coursework, or hobbiesAbility to follow detailed assembly and testing instructionsExperience using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipmentAbility to read and understand simple layouts and assembly drawingsBasic computer skills and ability to enter work hours into an ERP system, preferably SAPAbility to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shiftAbility to work in varying temperatures and manufacturing conditionsResponsibilities:Assemble gas meters for residential usePerform repetitive mechanical assembly tasks requiring precision and attention to detailFollow all workplace safety and product quality policies and complete site-specific trainingReceive components and materials for assembly and testing in the required sequenceAssemble and test mechanical or electrical componentsFollow assembly and testing instructions, including color coding, PVC thermal welding, and thread tapingUse hand tools, power tools, jigs, and fixtures to complete assembly tasksEnter work hours into the ERP system and complete required production documentationParticipate in continuous improvement activities and daily housekeeping/5S auditsRead and follow simple layouts and assembly drawingsMaintain equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition
