Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in new construction and remodeling projects Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to assemble and install plumbing components Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements Collaborate with other construction trades such as carpentry and HVAC teams to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless integration of systems Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections conducted for project documentation Qualifications Proven experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of pipe installation, welding, and schematics reading Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and other mechanical equipment efficiently Knowledge of HVAC systems and basic mechanical principles is highly desirable Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, working at heights, and working in confined spaces on construction sites Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings or schematics Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for site transportation needs Handyman experience or remodeling background is a plus for versatile project support Embark on a career where your craftsmanship makes a real difference!
