The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and residential care, with strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.Responsibilities:Oversee kitchen operations, including weekly menu planning, preparation of meals, and inventory managementMaintain kitchen cleanliness and ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standardsCoordinate food orders, manage supplier relationships, and monitor budget adherenceEnsure all certifications and documentation (menus, invoices, allergy lists, etc.) are up to date and properly maintainedOversee facility upkeep, supply inventory, and vehicle maintenance (including mileage logs and monthly safety checklists)Ensure program records, reports, and audits are accurate and compliant with agency policyMaintain training compliance (CPR, First Aid, CPI, Suicide Prevention, etc.) for self and staffEnsure compliance with health, fire, and building inspections and all ECHS policies and proceduresQualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent with at least three years of related experience; residential or youth service background preferredTwo years of experience in a food service environmentStrong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and USDA nutrition standardsValid Massachusetts driver's license and reliable transportationMust be at least 21 years oldSchedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5pmAnnual Salary$50,000—$50,000 USDAt Eliot, we are committed to supporting you at every stage of your career, providing opportunities for growth, purpose, and community.
