We're seeking a dedicated PRN Chaplain to join our interdisciplinary team and carry this mission forward.Why This Role MattersWith our recent acquisition and expansion of services, including increased oversight of bereavement support and individualized plans of care, the demand for consistent, accessible spiritual support has outpaced current capacity. This PRN Chaplain position is vital to maintaining the integrity of our holistic care model while reinforcing a resilient, emotionally supportive culturefor both patients and staff.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, and staffregardless of religious affiliation or belief systemOffer individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and bereavement supportConduct or coordinate spiritual services, memorials, or rituals upon requestParticipate in interdisciplinary team meetings and collaborate on care plansSupport staff through transitions, critical incidents, and emotional fatigueServe as a cultural and ethical liaison during sensitive care situationsWhat Were Looking ForEducation: Bachelors in Theology or related field required; Master of Divinity (M.Div.) or equivalent preferredCertification: Endorsement or ordination by a recognized faith tradition; certification from APC, NACC, NAJC, or equivalent is preferredExperience: Minimum 6 years in chaplaincy, pastoral care, hospice, or a related fieldSkills:Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilitiesEmotional intelligence and cultural sensitivityCompetence in crisis management and trauma-informed careAbility to connect meaningfully with people from diverse spiritual and cultural backgroundsWhat Youll Bring to St. GabrielsYou will be more than a spiritual caregiveryoull be a grounding presence during transitions, a voice of peace in uncertain moments, and a bridge between clinical excellence and compassionate humanity.
