Company DescriptionSt. Charles County Youth Soccer Association (SCCYSA) has been fostering youth soccer development since 1978, serving over 4,000 members annually. As one of the largest recreational youth soccer programs in Missouri, SCCYSA emphasizes accessibility, affordability, and fostering competitive opportunities for families in the St. Charles County and surrounding communities. The organization is dedicated to teaching soccer to young athletes through leagues, clinics, and educational programs, all while promoting the game in the region.Role DescriptionThe Director of Operations serves as a central operational leader for SCCYSA, overseeing daily office functions and ensuring the seamless execution of league activities. This role is responsible for managing office personnel, maintaining an exceptional customer-centric environment, and translating Board directives into effective operational practices. The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive, and technologically skilled leader who excels in process development, communication, and decision‑making.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational & Personnel OversightLead, support, and oversee office staff and Field Marshals to maintain efficient and high‑quality daily operations.Foster a positive, customer‑focused environment for families, coaches, volunteers, and community partners.Ensure consistency, accuracy, and professionalism in all office interactions and communications.League AdministrationExecute Board directives and implement league‑wide processes and initiatives.Manage player and coach registration, including data accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.Oversee roster creation, assignment, and ongoing roster management.Coordinate uniform procurement, distribution, and issue resolution.Communication & Customer ServiceServe as the primary point of contact for league inquiries, stakeholder communication, and issue escalation.Maintain and update the SCCYSA website and social media platforms with timely, accurate content.Financial & Process ManagementOversee cash handling protocols and ensure compliance with fiscal controls.Support budget management activities and maintain accurate league data related to membership, personnel, and financials.Compliance, Tracking & ReportingMaintain league incident reports and ensure proper tracking, documentation, and follow‑up.Manage and organize league data, generating reports and insights for Board use.QualificationsProficiency in Operations Management and developing efficient operational strategiesStrong Analytical Skills to assess and optimize organizational processesDemonstrated experience in Team Management and guiding staff effectivelyExceptional organizational skills and attention to detailProven ability to design, refine, and implement transparent, simple, and efficient processesExpertise in Budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocationCustomer Service skills to build positive relationships with members, parents, and community stakeholdersStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilitiesExperience in youth sports organizations or non-profit management is a plusAbility to work in-person at the St. Peters, Mo. office.In addition to 'Easy Apply', please send a copy of your resume, cover letter, and salary requirements to: sthorowgood@sccysa.org
