Depending on your package selection, Averro offers PTO, paid holidays, dental/vision, pet, and legal insurance.Overview:Seeking a hands-on HR Leader (Contract) to lead workforce transition activities for the Precision Manufacturing business unit as part of a site transfer and planned closure of the Mukilteo, WA facility.This role will partner closely with site leadership and global HR to deliver a compliant, well-managed transition while supporting business continuity across a global manufacturing network. This is a high-impact role suited for an HR leader who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and can balance operational execution with a thoughtful employee experience.This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in transforming a global manufacturing footprint, partnering with leaders across regions while ensuring a respectful and well-executed employee transition.Primary ResponsibilitiesWhat you will do:Lead end-to-end HR execution of site transfer and closure activities aligned to business timelinesPartner with U.S. and global stakeholders to support workforce transition across a multi-site manufacturing footprintSupport broader HR needs on the West Coast U.S., including employee relations managementDevelop and implement workforce plans, including retention, redeployment, and reductions in forceCoach leaders through sensitive employee communications and workforce decisionsEnsure compliance with U.S. employment laws, including Washington state regulations, in partnership with LegalSupport global coordination of talent movement, knowledge transfer, and receiving site readinessProvide employees with clear communication and access to transition resources, including outplacement supportTrack milestones, manage risks, and provide updates to HR and business leadershipRequired Experience, Education, Skills and CompetenciesRequired:7+ years of HR experience, including site closures, restructuring, or large-scale workforce changeExperience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or operations-driven environmentsStrong knowledge of U.S. labor laws (multi-state/global exposure preferred)Proven ability to operate effectively in a global organization with cross-border coordinationHigh emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and ability to navigate sensitive situationsStrong execution and project management skillsAssignment DetailsContract Duration: Approximately 6–12 months (aligned to project timeline)Location: Mukilteo, WA (on-site presence required)Travel: Limited, as needed to support the West Coast region (WA, CA) – less than 20%WHY AVERRO?Averro is a Veteran-Owned organization dedicated to delivering innovative talent solutions, business consulting and technology services that propel businesses and careers forward.
