Data Analytics Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Data Analytics Engineer with at least 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in data engineering and analytics, with the ability to transform complex data sets into actionable insights that drive business decisions. Key Responsibilities: Data Pipeline Development: Design, implement, and maintain robust data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into our data warehouse. Data Modeling: Create and optimize data models that support reporting and analytics needs while ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, business analysts, and stakeholders, to understand their data requirements and provide timely and relevant insights. Reporting and Visualization: Develop dashboards and visualizations using Tableau to present data in an intuitive manner to stakeholders. Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize query performance and data storage to ensure high availability and scalability of data solutions. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes, architectures, and systems to ensure transparency and facilitate onboarding of new team members. Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, or a related role. Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and experience with databases (e.g., T-SQL, PostgreSQL, etc.). Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Fivetran, Talend, Informatica). Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Additional Preferred Qualifications: Experience with machine learning techniques and data modeling. Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices. Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala for data manipulation and analysis.
