Senior Python Developer

Python Developer(Backend) Hybrid for NYC Long term Contract In-Person round Interview. Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Python Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs. The candidate should have strong expertise in Python development, RESTful services, database design, cloud technologies, and microservices architecture. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Python Design and build REST APIs and microservices Work with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI Integrate third-party APIs and external systems Design and optimize SQL/NoSQL databases Write clean, reusable, and efficient code Perform code reviews and guide junior developers Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams Troubleshoot and resolve production issues Participate in architecture discussions and technical design Required Skills Strong experience in Python backend development Hands-on experience with Django / Flask / FastAPI Experience in RESTful API development Strong knowledge of SQL and database optimization Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB Understanding of Microservices Architecture Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines Knowledge of Docker and containerization Strong debugging and problem-solving skills Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour Work Location: In person
