**Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk **Company: .decimal® **Location: Sanford **Job Summary:** As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk at .d Machining®, you will play a crucial role in our precision manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for managing the inbound and outbound flow of goods, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely delivery of products. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will contribute to the seamless operation of our warehouse. **Responsibilities:** - Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damages - Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling items according to shipping requirements - Operate equipment including reach trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts to move materials within the warehouse - Perform order picking to ensure correct items are selected for shipment - Collaborate with other departments to coordinate shipping schedules and resolve any discrepancies - Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations **Qualifications:** - Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations - Ability to operate reach trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely - Experience with order picking and packaging techniques - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling shipments - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods Ability to bend, stoop, and reach as needed Ability to lift up to 30 lbs Preferred / Desired Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent vocational training .d Machining is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
