The role involves operating heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and graders to complete a variety of tasks including earthmoving, grading, and excavation. The operator will conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment, ensure compliance with safety protocols, and collaborate with team members to meet project timelines and standards. This role has opportunity for upward mobility if the candidate has experience or interest in a foreman and leadership position.QualificationsProficiency in operating heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, and loadersKnowledge of local earthwork techniques and site grading proceduresStrong understanding of workplace safety and adherence to guidelinesAbility to work in various weather conditionsA valid driver’s license or relevant certifications required5+ years of previous civil construction experience is required.Must work great on a team.Bonus QualificationsGPS/Trimble ExperienceOSHA certificationsAbility to lead a small crew
