Title: Graphics Software Engineer (Contract)Location: San Diego, CA (100% Onsite)Duration: 3+ MonthsJob OverviewWe are seeking a Graphics Software Engineer to develop and optimize real-time rendering solutions for XR and avatar applications on Android devices and AR glasses. The role focuses on GPU optimization, Vulkan graphics programming, shader development, and high-performance rendering on Qualcomm Snapdragon/Adreno platforms.Key Responsibilities* Develop and optimize Vulkan-based rendering pipelines and GPU compute shaders.* Optimize graphics performance for Android mobile devices and AR/XR platforms.* Improve GPU memory usage, CPU-GPU data transfers, and rendering efficiency.* Debug graphics performance issues, rendering artifacts, and GPU bottlenecks.* Collaborate with graphics, XR, and software teams to deliver high-performance rendering solutions.Required Skills* Strong C/C++ (C++17/C++20) programming* Vulkan Graphics Programming* GPU Acceleration and Compute Shader Optimization* Mobile GPU Optimization (Adreno/Snapdragon preferred)* Android NDK and Android platform development* GLSL/HLSL, SPIR-V* Graphics profiling and debugging using RenderDoc or Snapdragon Profiler* Real-time rendering pipelines and GPU memory managementPreferred Skills* Python programming* Android APIs* GPGPU Programming* Experience with Dynamic Gaussian Splatting (3DGS), XR/AR, or OpenGL ES* Familiarity with Qualcomm Adreno GPU architectureQualifications* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.* 2+ years of experience in Graphics Software Engineering, GPU programming, Game Rendering, or related areas.
