From this vantage point, our team has developed proprietary ASC ownership models that give both physicians and hospitals what they need to ensure long-term clinical and financial success.Position SummaryA Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) acts as a liaison between patients and the medical staff ensuring that patients receive consistent, high-quality care. CNAs provide basic patient care, assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring vital signs, and supporting overall patient well-being under the supervision of a licensed nurse.This is full-time position Monday - Friday, no call, no weekends, no nights.Address1375 S Lapeer Rd #109, Lake Orion, MI 48360Duties/ResponsibilitiesAssist with the patient admission process.Collect patient information including family medical histories.Take patients’ vital signs such as blood pressure and heart rate.Help patients dress/undress or use the bathroom as needed.Turn or reposition patients who are confined to a bed.Assist patients with food and/or hydration.Clean rooms, make beds and stock supplies.Perform basic medical tasks including wound care and catheter care.Assist with patient transfers and discharges.Monitor patients for signs of illness or infection.Demonstrate a clear understanding of regulations applicable to patient care and/or other Center functions.Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation of patient care provided to ensure the integration of information for use by the healthcare team to ensure quality care.Follow the Center’s exposure control plans/blood borne and airborne pathogens.Able to problem solve in the presence of stressful situations/work environment.Perform other duties as assigned.Education/ExperienceREQUIRED:High school diploma or equivalentGraduate of an accredited CNA training program (per State requirements)CNA licenseBLS certification (as required by individual ASC policy)PreferredASC experienceMinimum one year CNA experience
