Stockroom Lead

The Stockroom Lead provides support for employees and recommends improvements and operating procedures. Responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing materials, equipment, and other items from the stockroom. Responsible for maintaining records and compiling stock reports.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for overall coordination and evaluation of the Stock Room.Perform and manage cycle counts and assist with Inventory Control.Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms and warehouse.Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in applicable locations.Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.Receive and count stock items, and record data using ERP system.Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, or other labeling equipment. ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:Ability to follow DirectionsAdaptabilityArm-Hand SteadinessAttention to DetailCooperationCoordinationCustomer ServiceDependabilityHandling and Moving ObjectsInspecting Equipment, Structures, or MaterialInterpersonal Skills to interact with all Team Members. Manual DexterityTime ManagementVerbal and Written Communication skillsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High School diploma or equivalent.One to three years of experience desired in a manufacturing environment.Any equivalent combination of education and experience determined to be acceptable by management.QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITIESAs a member of the Quality Management System, quality procedures, requirements, work instructions, and other required documentation must be followed. Team members are responsible to be aware of the companys quality policy and quality objectives to support the continuous improvement projects and contribute to the overall mission of the organization. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENTWorks primarily in a climate controlled manufacturing environment with regular exposure to dust, odors, oil, and fumes with moderate noise.
