Storeroom Attendant

Job Summary: As a Logistics Coordinator I, you will be essential in managing and optimizing the flow of goods from origin to destination. You will collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and clients to ensure efficient logistics operations. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to perform well in a dynamic environment. Hours Sat/Sun 7pm-7 am. Potential for extra hours if someone calls out during the week. -Training will be Mon-Fri 7a-3p for 1 week. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the coordination of goods, including scheduling transportation, monitoring shipments, and ensuring timely delivery. Manage purchase order tracking with proficiency in ERP systems (preferably SAP), ensuring accurate record-keeping. Update and maintain purchase orders in internal systems, while keeping detailed records of shipments to ensure compliance. Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to arrange pickups and deliveries, addressing and resolving any transportation issues that arise. Monitor and manage inventory levels, working closely with procurement and warehouse teams to optimize stock levels and reduce stockouts. Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements and company policies related to transportation and logistics. Use logistics software and systems to track shipments, generate reports, and analyze performance metrics. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and cost savings within the supply chain. Maintain comprehensive records of shipments, invoices, and other necessary documentation. Deliver outstanding customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving complaints, and addressing any issues that occur during transit. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics coordination, ideally within a similar industry. Strong proficiency in ERP systems, with a preference for SAP experience. Demonstrated experience with state-line shipments and large box stores. Thorough understanding of transportation regulations and logistics procedures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in logistics software and the Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and handle multiple projects concurrently. High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. Ability to adapt and solve problems in response to challenges within the supply chain.
