Welding Inspector

Job Description About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented Welding Parts Inspector to join our team. This position is responsible for inspecting welded components to ensure they meet all quality, safety, and customer specifications. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, experience with welding or fabrication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.What You Will DoInspect welded parts and assemblies for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specificationsPerform visual inspection and use measurement tools such as calipers, gauges, and micrometersRead and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawingsIdentify defects including cracks, porosity, undercut, incomplete fusion, and incorrect weld sizeRecord inspection results and maintain accurate quality documentationTag and report non-conforming materialsWork closely with welders and supervisors to resolve quality issuesFollow all company safety procedures and quality control guidelinesWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredExperience in welding, fabrication, or quality inspection preferredAbility to read blueprints and understand welding symbolsStrong problem-solving and communication skillsFamiliarity with MIG, TIG, or other welding processes is a plusAbility to work independently and meet production timelinesComfortable working in an industrial environmentPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for long periodsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsWork around heat, noise, dust, and industrial equipment8:00 AM-4:00PM Monday - Friday.
