ResponsibilitiesJob Summary: As a Maintenance Team Leader I, you'll ensure the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our manufacturing, warehouse, and transportation assets, and lead daily activities related to maintenance and repairs.Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:Maintenance Operations:Ensures the reliability, efficiency and safety of the industrial warehouse, transportation, and manufacturing assets and related support areasLeads daily activities for industrial facilities-related maintenance and repairsCollaborates with customers, engineers, and contractors in the design / construction of new industrial facilities; helps to establish standard specificationsStays current on / researches new technologies related to the businessMaintains knowledge of / complies with current regulatory requirementsManagement:Supports strategic goals of Facility Services; makes daily tactical decisions to substantially impact financial and reliability status of facilitiesLeads multi-skilled technicians who maintain electrical systems, AC systems, water / sewer systems, building and roofing, pavement and grounds, dock doors, levelers, seals and restraints, and lighting and fire suppression systemsDevelops / schedules / leads assigned PartnersCreates a team environment; fosters training / development to ensure Partners provide quality repairs and superior serviceThe responsibilities and essential functions outlined above describe the general nature and level of work assigned to this position. Employees may be required to perform other job-related tasks as requested by their supervisor, subject to reasonable accommodations.Qualifications & Key Requirements:Work Experience: of experience as a high-level technician plus of experience as a foreman -Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Written / verbal communication skills - PC skills, including MS Office (Excel, Word) and a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) (EAM preferred) -Education: AAS degree 3+ years of experience OR -Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver's license - a clean driving record -Physical Demands & Working Conditions:Travel by car or plane with overnight staysOccasionally lift 20 lbs or more; lift and carry 50 lbsWalk long distances; climb ladders / stairs to gain rooftop access; stand, stoop, crawl; work in hot and cold spaces; maneuver around equipmentWork around industrial facilities, including food, manufacturing, warehousing, transportation, refrigeratedRespond to emergency situations any time of day or nightThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a Partner encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
